2012 was not the end of the world and all my plans of looting the post-apocalyptic mess have fallen apart. So I've decided to do something different this year. People always talk about turning over a new leaf but I've finally committed to doing things. I hope by the end of this year this blog will be filled with new things and new people and stuff I'd never bother trying before. First post is my trip to Osaka, Japan. I was going to go with friends but complications arose and I ended up going by myself. Stranger in a strange land? Definitely outside of my comfort zone. Great fun was had and I may have fallen in love with travelling.
I'm always open to ideas for new things to try out, activities, hobbies, books to read, food to cook. Part of my motivation comes from the work of a Melbourne based artist and you can view his work here: http://zenpencils.com/.
Enjoy my blog and wish me the best of luck for a big year.
(For those who came to this blog in search of bird watching related material I'm afraid you're in the wrong place.)
